Hahaha! Loved the article! I’ve been globe traveling freelancer and entrepreneur for a little more than twenty years now. When I left behind the corporate grind, I have to admit I was the “proud” owner of several Kiyosaki books. You’re right. They’re absolute drivel and really make for excellent doorstops and not much else. 😆 Trumps books are surprisingly even worse, it is absolutely no wonder why they eventually teamed up. Kiyosaki did do one thing we can learn from, however. He is a brilliant marketer and a master of self branding. When I was right out of high school I bought his shit hook, line, and sinker. I did leave the corporate world behind long ago in favor of my own businesses and freelancing (trading in one master for many), but Kiyosaki’s books didn’t help one iota. I think even The Secret was more of a help and that is quite literally nothing more than Thomas the Train Engine for adults — “I think I can… I think I can.” 😂
